I am posting a review of a handcrafted nail polish called
Aly's Dream Polish.
First off, I want to say that the polish is AMAZING. (I'm not just saying that either).
I did a test of it myself and it stayed on better than my "Professional" polishes.
I tried on my natural nail with base coat + colour + top coat as well as over my gel nails with colour + top coat. Both ways stayed on perfectly for almost 2 weeks (it was 11 days).
The way the polish smells: a LOT better than OPI and similar to China Glaze. I didn't get the normal complaints from my husband telling me it stinks (at first he didn't even know I was painting my nails beside him LOL).
The way the colour looks: GREAT! I really loved the colours!
Pros: Handcrafted, smells good, nice colour, long wear, 4/3 Free, Cruelty free
Cons: The nail polish is so far away from me! (The creator lives in the states and I live in Canada) So the mail sometimes sucks big time if you don't live within USA.
The only other thing I can mention is that it DID take work to take the polish off (ESPECIALLY the sparkle coats) but Ashley sent me some base coat specifically for under the sparkles which makes it easier to take off :) So I would recommend getting that product also (otherwise if you are special and tried it without it you will be trying for about 10 minutes to get the sparkles off!)
I would recommend this product and really like the variety of colours, sparkles, holos, etc that Ashley is making!
I tested (*Mermaid Scales & I Sea You - these polishes are NOT listed in the Etsy store but were made because I love the ocean and mermaids) Minty Fresssh, Holographic Topcoat, Girl Candy, and Space Voyage (I forgot to take pictures of Space Voyage, sorry!)
